Christmas

I have been frustrated lately by pop culture's take on Christmas. The various interpretations of what is a proper noun seems astounding. Perhaps they should have listened to Linus.

For a beautifully written explanation of why A Charlie Brown Christmas works so well, visit Sean Gaffney's Blog: http://gaffneyjournal.blogspot.com/2007/12/linus-and-lucy-cb-part-six.html

Faith

Steven Colbert shares more than his humor with the women on the View.

It's a strangely rambling interview until Barbara Walters takes control and asks Steven about his late father and how his mother managed raising all those kids.

His answer is illuminating.

Blast Off!

Historic days don't come around very often. So it's nice we have video to capture it.

Today marked the first time a private company completed a full rocket launch and re-entry.

Watching the video and seeing the stills of the elegant three chute splashdown recalled former NASA glory days.

Way to go Space X!

Christmas

I love the pure voices singing this particular song in a place of commerce.

World Cup Quidditch

In honor of the World Cup match that was just played in NYC (Go Midd!) and the movie The Deathly Hallows, here's a look back at muggle quidditch.

Lemonade

I really enjoy the show Community. Why? Because they are all about making lemonade.

Solitary

So I put a baby video on the web.

Sue me.
